Numerous petroleum industry sponsors and supporters make it possible for the Houston Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute (API) to continue to support educational opportunities such as the Houston Regional Science Fair, the Offshore Energy Center and its “Ocean Star” museum in Galveston,  endowed scholarships at five public universities in Texas, scholarships for students graduating from HISD’s High School for the Engineering  Professions, and other worthwhile educational organizations.

Sponsors names are prominently displayed at all of the Chapter’s meetings and events.  Event sponsors receive registration privileges at those events.
